INTERNSHIPS

Each Spring and Summer semesters, we welcome college sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a passion for global health and female empowerment to join our team as interns.  Remote internships are generally 16 weeks in length and the student is expected to complete at least 160 hours by the end of their semester.  Students may be able to earn credit but final approval is dependent on the student's college or university. On-site internships are generally 8-12 weeks for a minimum of 240 hours.  To apply for our internships, e-mail your resume and cover letter to twonurses@juani.org. 

GLOBAL  HEALTH

- Remote or On-Site in Kenya -

Health care and public health students are invited to apply for our global health internships which can be performed remotely or on-site, depending on the desires of the intern and the needs of the project. The intern will design, implement, and evaluate public health programs, create culturally appropriate health education materials, and if on-site, may volunteer at The Wilson Center.

COMMUNICATIONS & DEVELOPMENT 

- Remote -

We’re looking for public health, medical, finance, business, and international affairs majors who would like to gain experience with both fundraising, development, and public health activities. The ideal candidate is a creative individual with excellent communication skills and an interest in women's health.  The intern will promote fundraising activities, organize and implement educational events that further our mission, assist with grant applications, and produce our women's health podcast, Sunlit Conversations.  This is a remote internship with the option to organize and host in-person events on your college campus or within your community.
